Our clients trust our villa experience because we have been there.
Stylish and spacious, Vistamar has 6 bedrooms and sits on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens in a quiet cul-de-sac within the exclusive Sandy Lane Estate on the west coast of Barbados.
With all the benefits of luxury villa living, Vistamar features a stunning partially covered veranda which leads to the pool deck and covered poolside gazebo along with a two-bedroom self-contained cottage, just a stones’ throw away from the main house. Enjoy cooling island breezes as you kick back and relax, letting our experienced staff take care of your every need.
The indoor living room features oversized comfortable sofas and French doors that open out on to a covered terrace with casual outdoor seating, wet bar and a large dining table that seats 12, so everyone can gather together and enjoy quality time.
Should you wish to escape, the self-contained cottage has a small interior living room with TV and a large patio that includes a stunning sculpted coral stone and glass dining table, comfy sofas and chairs as well as a selection of books and games to keep the kids (and adults!) entertained.
Our friendly staff will provide you with three meals a day, after discussing your particular culinary preferences. Pre-stocked groceries can be purchased for you and charged to your account, or you can source them yourself from the local supermarket in Holetown.
Start each day with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool while breakfast is prepared; we can organise a menu that suits whatever your heart desires, or to your specific dietary needs.
Gather together for an evening meal of delicious, homemade food prepared by the cook and order your choice of fine wines or champagne to celebrate your holiday or special occasion.
Stay close to home by visiting Holetown (5 minutes to the north), with its lively atmosphere on Second Street, with plentiful bars and a variety of restaurants or venture further north, to Speightstown, for some authentic local flavour and freshly caught fish.
Travel further afield to the south coast, where you can explore jazzy bistros in Bridgetown, find nightclubs that will take you into the wee hours, stop off at any of the bars and restaurants dotted along the coastline and take a walk through St Lawrence Gap. On a Wednesday or a Friday, head to Oistins, where the catch of the day is grilled right in front of you, island-style.
Perfect for families or groups of friends, Vistamar has the freedom of a home away from home, as each day is your own. Guests at Vistamar have access to the Sandy Lane Beach Club, tennis, golf, the Spa and fine restaurants; the villa is also close to Holetown and Speightstown, and all the amenities that the west coast of Barbados has to offer.
Vistamar is a non-smoking villa and we ask our guests to please smoke only outside of the building.

"Breathtaking from the moment we arrived on the property. The garden is like something out of a magazine. While we were at the house, we spent most of our time on the vast veranda, which had a dining table (for 12 of us!), a lounging area, and a bar. So when we weren't at the beach, we could enjoy the beautiful outdoor setting comfortably in the shade. It was also adjacent to the pool allowing for easy back and forth between the two. Although the outdoors were the highlight, the rest of the house was gorgeous as well. Bedrooms and bathrooms fit for royalty. Having the separate cottage was nice too, if you wanted some separation. The Sandy Lane beach we had access too was incredible as well. Being only a short drive (or a not as short, but relaxing walk) away, not a day went by that we didn't visit it. What really made the trip though, was the staff and management. The property manager arranged our rental cars waiting for us at the airport. We arrived in the evening with dinner waiting for us. The staff was sooo curteous and welcoming and amazing cooks. The property manager was extremely helpful, booking activities and making recommendations. If I am ever fortunate enough to return to Barbados, I will certainly be staying here again." Taylor R.
"Villa 70 (Villa Vistamar) staff provide immaculate service. They took care of our every whim. The manager, Alexis, was very friendly and always available to book activities. The villa is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and most of all spotlessly clean. The large pool and deck were luxurious for hanging out, and it's just a short walk to Sandy Lane Beach. Perfect holiday!! We will definately be back." Nina
Barbados – an island that conjures up glamour and white sandy beaches, five star restaurants and as much adventure as you can handle; this small Caribbean island has a strong British influence, and has become one of the most prosperous and developed nations in the region, offering facilities and services that other, less-developed islands often lack.
Barbados enjoys a warm and sunny climate year-round, with an average daytime high of 75 - 85°F, and slightly cooler nights. A constant breeze from the prevailing tradewinds keeps humidity low, and rain usually comes in quick showers. The dry season lasts from December to June.
There is an abundance of activities available on island, along with eco-friendly hikes and island tours; you can learn to play polo or surf like the pros, zipline across gullies and Segway around the north coast. Golf and watersports are very popular and there are a wide variety of locations and options to choose from including sailing, sport fishing, windsurfing and scuba diving.
